A must-see true sports story. Hoosiers follows a small Indiana town's high school basketball team, the Hickory Huskers, which plays its way to the 1954 state finals. Gene Hackman stars as washed-up coach Norman Dale, who takes on the seemingly hopeless team because it's the only one that will have him. Great performances from Hackman, Dennis Hopper and Barbara Hershey.
